FYI Body: ON MONDAY 1 JULY 2013, 9 AM CEST, REGISTRATION FOR THE FIRST EVER TRILOGY OF FREE MASSIVE OPEN ONLINE COURSES IN LINGUISTICS STARTED. WITH THESE THREE COURSES STUDENTS CAN COVER SOME OF THE CENTRAL AREAS OF MODERN LINGUISTICS:

- LINGUISTICS 101 - FUNDAMENTALS (BASICALLY AN INTRODUCTION TO LINGUISTICS)
- LINGUISTICS 102 - SPEECH SCIENCE (AN INTRODUCTION TO PHONETICS)
- LINGUISTICS 103 - THE NATURE OF MEANING (AN OVERVIEW OF SEMANTICS AND PRAGMATICS)
