The programme, which lasts three semesters, offers students the possibility to investigate state of the art topics in the fields of Computational Linguistics and Natural Language Processing, with a particular emphasis on language in embodied systems (e.g. robots and virtual agents), and social media.

The M.Sc. has a taught and a research component. Apart from the principal taught modules, students also have the opportunity to develop a tailored foundational programme in their first year of study, to develop knowledge and skills in fundamental areas, depending on what their background is.
