Due to a couple of requests, we've extended the deadline for submissions of short papers to January 10th, 2013. Please apologize for cross-posting. Call for Short Papers - Special Volume on Non-standard Data Sources in Corpus-based Research Following the 1st workshop on Automatic Processing of Non-Standard Data Sources in Corpus-based Research (NOSDAC) held on August 31st at the University of Cologne, we are compiling a special volume to appear as the 5th Edition of the ZSM-Studien series sponsored by the Centre of Multilingualism of the University of Cologne. We welcome unpublished short papers (up to 8 A5 pages including references) presenting and describing original non-standard language resources, such as: - Non-standard (historical, internet, SMS) corpora (freely available). - POS Taggers and parsers developed for historical and/or internet data. - Computational tools for spelling normalization. - Corpus interfaces or query tools for non-standard language. All papers will be peer-reviewed by an international committee and selected according to the originality of the resource and quality of the manuscript. Submissions should be done via EasyChair.
