On the Day of the World's Indigenous People (August 9), Wuqu'Kawoq: Maya Health Alliance announced the availability of a free software plug-in that allows users to access Facebook's interface completely in the Kaqchikel language. The software can be downloaded at www.wachwuj.com. It is the result of collaboration between linguists Robert Henderson (McGill U.) and Juan Ajsinivac (Kaqchikel Colchi, Guatemala), and Dr. Peter Rohloff (Wuqu' Kawoq Medical Director), based on a script developed by Kevin Scannell (St. Louis U.)
