Media: Qatar University holds fourth Linguistics in the Gulf Conference

This past weekend Qatar University held its fourth Linguistics in the Gulf Conference. There were speakers from more than a dozen universities from around the world, including Jeffrey Heath, from University of Michigan. “During these two days, delegates will address new challenges facing linguistics researchers and share experiences with colleagues from institutions in the region and beyond to advance the ongoing dialogue on this important area of study," said Rizwan Ahmad, Chair of the Department of English Literature and Linguistics.
