||Origin of an adage
The adage is ''What is truer than truth? Story.''
I've spent several hours searching the internet (not the best research
tool, I know) and the best I can find is a vague attribution to ''a Jewish
saying.'' I would like to find out as much as I can about the source
and/or first appearance of this proverb.
