Dear Professors, I'm interesting in exploring how we can make vocabulary learning more effective (including, remembering new words faster) for second language learners. The target language is English for the concreteness of the discussion. I know many are pointing to Spaced Repetition System (SRS). But I think there must be more to that than just SRS. So what do you think are the major factors that can help second language learners acquire new words faster/more effective? Thank you very much. |
