|Subject:||Publishing my research|
|Question:||I'm looking for a professional course aimed at postdocs or recent PhDs who are new to the publishing world or simply having difficulty publishing their research. The course should ideally address the various stages of publishing, from writing up the article to selecting the right journal. Any advice would be much appreciated.|
|Reply:||The LSA holds "survival skills" workshops at both Summer Institutes and sometimes during winter LSA meetings. Some in the past have focused on how to get published. Most are geared toward graduate students, but most of the skills discussed there would apply to other levels too.. If you are a recent Ph.D., you might also want to speak with your advisor, who might have some tips for you.|
