Meeting Description:	The research team of the AHRC-funded project Existential constructions: An investigation into the Italo-Romance dialects is pleased to announce the Manchester Symposium on Existentials, which will take place at the University of Manchester on 28-29 June 2012. Despite receiving a great deal of attention in the specialist literature, existential constructions still raise a number of important questions. The Symposium aims to create a platform for discussion of existential constructions in a cross-linguistic perspective. All theoretical approaches are welcome. The keynote speakers will be: Itamar Francez, University of Chicago Andrew Koontz-Garboden, University of Manchester Registration is free, but those wishing to attend, whether presenting or not, should send an email to silvio.cruschina@manchester.ac.uk as soon as possible.
