|Meeting Description:||The conference aims to look into global and local issues of understanding diversity particularly in relation to linguistics, literature and culture.
Diversity encompasses differences among individuals and groups -culture, experience, ethnicity, gender, location, ideology and belief. Recognising diversity not only involves how people perceive themselves, but also how they perceive others. In order to accept the differences and to embrace diversity in the mosaic of linguistics, literature and culture, awareness of these patterns is crucial.
