Meeting Description: The Manchester and Salford New Researchers Forum in Linguistics (FiL) is an annual event which aims to bring together new researchers including postgraduate students, postdoctoral researchers and early career researchers to present current work, results and problems from any field of linguistics. The event includes the presentation of papers, posters, a careers panel and plenary talks, as well as a dinner and drinks. The FiL will take place at the University of Manchester from 2-3 November 2012.
