|Meeting Description:||Utrecht University is organizing a two-day workshop on the topic of disfluencies in spoken language (pauses, uhm’s, slow tempo, corrections, and repetitions). The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers from various fields of linguistics. We invite psycholinguists and phoneticians who investigate hesitations or disfluencies in spoken language from a cognitive perspective, and applied linguists who investigate disfluencies from an educational/language testing perspective.
