Meeting Description:	We are pleased to announce that the 15th Annual Conference of the Pragmatics Society of Japan will be held on December 1 and 2, 2012 at Osaka Gakuin University in Osaka, Japan. Our 15th conference aims at bringing together students and researchers working in this growing field of pragmatics and its related areas. We are preparing a special program to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the conference, including the two plenary lectures and symposium listed below. Plenary Lectures: 1. Title: ‘The Pragmatics of Discourse about Global Circulation’ Charles Briggs (University of California, Berkeley, Department of Anthropology) 2. Title: ‘Corpora, Dictionaries, and Pragmatics: Challenges and Opportunities in the Age of E-lexicography’ Michael Rundell (Editor-in-Chief, Macmillan Dictionaries: Director, Lexicography Master Class Ltd.; Lecturer at University of Exeter throughout the 1990s and at University of Brighton 2002-2003; Managing Editor at Longman Dictionaries 1984-1994) Symposium: Theme: ‘Corpus, Linguistics, and Pragmatics’ (Details to be announced soon)
