International Conference on Tocharian Manuscripts and Silk Road Culture
Since early 2011 the University of Vienna has been hosting an online edition project of Tocharian manuscripts funded by the FWF Austrian Science Fund. Research on Tocharian is interdisciplinary and international per se, and much depends on cooperation with neighboring disciplines such as Buddhist studies and other philologies of Central Asian languages. The conference is therefore dedicated to the study of Tocharian texts and Tocharian culture in all its aspects, and open to transdisciplinary approaches. |
