Meeting Description:	Langue française mise en relief(s) : Aspects linguistiques, didactiques et institutionnels Perpignan, 6-8 June 2013 The 2013 AFLS (Association for French Language Studies) conference will take place in Perpignan, France from 6-8 June. This conference will be a forum for exploring the notion of ‘mise en relief’ in French. Different understandings of this notion will be brought together and explored from a linguistic point of view, but also in relation to applied issues and in terms of language policy. The city of Perpignan la Catalane (http://www.mairie-perpignan.fr/) is located in the southernmost part of France, just a few miles from Spain, in the Pyrénées-Orientales department (http://www.tourismepyreneesorientales.com/). Perpignan can be reached by high-speed train and is under 6 hours from Paris. The main airports for travelling to Perpignan are: Perpignan, Gerona, Barcelona, Montpellier. The Univeristy of Perpignan Via Domitia (http://www.univ-perp.fr/) can be reached easily by bus from the train station and the airport.
