Meeting Description:	The CAERDA Annual International Conference serves as an open forum for interdisciplinary discussion and scholarly exchange of ideas among educational researchers and practitioners from around the world. The participants, with or without an ethnic Chinese background, present their current research and draw implications for issues related to CAERDA’s mission. The conference program primarily consists of presentations selected through a blind peer-review process. In addition, there are invited presentations, symposia, and panel discussions that feature the annual conference theme. Selected high quality presentations will be invited to submit to the New Waves Journal, the CAERDA’s peer-reviewed online journal, or an annual feature publication in the CAERDA book series. The CAERDA Conference is held immediately before the annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association at the same location. This affiliation provides added convenience and enriched experience for conference attendees to participate in the programs of both conferences. The 2013 conference will take place in April 26-27, 2013 at one of the AERA headquarter hotels in San Francisco, California, USA. At the annual conference, CAERDA will also arrange for various special programs, including Invited Sessions and Promising Scholars Sessions (for early career researchers).
