Meeting Description: The Italian Department of the University of Cambridge is very happy to announce that the 7th Cambridge Italian Dialect Syntax-Morphology Meeting will take place at the University of Cambridge on 24-25 June 2013. The meeting aims to bring together dialectologists working on any aspect of the syntax and/or morphology of the dialects of Italy (including non-Romance varieties such as Germanic, Greek, Slavonic, and Albanian varieties) and encourages all approaches - whether synchronic or diachronic, descriptive or theoretical (all frameworks) - to the regional languages and dialects spoken throughout Italy. The invited speakers for CIDSM 7 are:

Registration Details:

Those who are interested in attending the meeting, whether presenting a paper or not, should send an email to by Friday 14 June to register (there will be a minimal registration fee of £5, payable at the conference, to cover the costs of refreshments). There will also be a conference dinner on the evening of Monday 24 June at one of the Cambridge colleges (if you wish to attend, please send an email to by Friday 31 May).
