"Buenos dias", "buenas noches" -- this was the first words in a foreign language I heard in my life, as a three-year old boy growing up in developing post-war Western Germany, where the first gastarbeiters had arrived from Spain. Fascinated by the strange sounds, I tried to get to know some more languages, the only opportunity being TV courses of English and French -- there was no foreign language education for pre-teen school children in Germany yet in those days. Background and Mission Statement:

Thailand TESOL, Lower-Southern Affiliate (L-SA) is one of the non-profit academic organizations which helps promote the objectives of Thailand TESOL. L-SA is located at the Department of Languages and Linguistics, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Prince of Songkla University-Hat Yai, Songkhla. It aims to assist the national TESOL in strengthening English language education at all levels, undertaking research in English language teaching, offering scholarships, disseminating information, and cooperating in appropriate ways with other groups having similar concerns.hops, and an excellent book fair, there will be plenty of opportunities to develop and foster professional and casual network relationships.
