|Meeting Description:||The annual meeting of the world's largest general scientific society, attended by thousands of scientists, engineers, educators, policymakers, and journalists. Section Z, Linguistics and Language Sciences will have its annual business meeting on the evening of Friday, February 14. The meeting includes three symposia devoted to linguistic topics:
• Talking to Kids Really Matters: Early Language Experience Shapes Later Life Chances
• Variability in Speech and Language in Individuals with Autism and Associated Traits
• The Large Cognitive Implications of Small Languages
In addition, there will be many other symposia on topics of interest to linguists.
