This international meeting is intended to bring together scholars from different backgrounds who are interested in the interface between Buddhism and Linguistics. The colloquium aims to examine the connections between Buddhism and the study of language. We aim at initiating a new interdisciplinary colloquium that explores how philosophical idea in Buddhism interact with linguistic theories and language studies. Palgrave MacMillan has already expressed an interest in publishing an edited volume of the papers presented at the conference and contributions are welcome on any topic that brings together the two disciplines of Buddhism and Linguistics.
