|Meeting Description:||This conference will highlight the importance of the First World War, both for the identity of the Serbian people as well as for a common European identity and reflect the findings of scientists from different ethnic, linguistic, political, social and religious communities on all sides of the conflict, including opponents of the war.
The intention of the conference organizers would be to discuss, among others, the following topics:
- Literary and artistic life: 1914-1918
- Serbian culture in exile
- First World War in the world and Serbian literature
- Books and periodicals in the First World War
- First World War in the bibliography
Defined topics should contribute to better understanding of the history that goes beyond traditional military history and includes literary, artistic and cultural reinterpretation of experiences from the period 1914-1918.
