Meeting Description: Queen's University Belfast is pleased to announce its Interdisciplinary Linguistics Conference 2014 (ILinC 2014), a postgraduate student-led venture organised by the School of English. This one-day symposium gives early career researchers the opportunity to exchange information about exploring language across all academic disciplines alongside academics in the field of linguistics and other local organizations implementing change through language. The event aims to bring together researchers from different academic divisions carrying out language studies in order to foster cross-disciplinary contact and encourage the development of new ideas in research.

Confirmed Keynote Speakers:

Dr. Dominic Watt (Senior Lecturer in Forensic Speech Science at York University)
Linda Ervine (Irish Language Development Officer, EBM, Belfast)
