Meeting Description: The JENom workshops aim at bringing together researchers who are concerned with the morphology, syntax and semantics of nominalizations in various languages and frameworks.

JENom originated in France (which explains its French acronym: ''Journées d'Études sur les Nominalisations''). Previous editions were held in Nancy, Lille, Paris, Stuttgart, Barcelona and Verona. This year’s JENom will take place at the University of Fribourg, on June 1-2, 2017.

JENom was initially dedicated to the study of argument structure and aspectual properties of deverbal nominalizations. Recent editions significantly broadened the focus of the workshop so as to include a larger variety of related topics and constructs. JENom 7 will continue along these lines.
