UKLVC is a biennial conference that provides a forum to present recent research in language variation & change, sociolinguistics, dialectology, and applications of these to other fields in linguistics (e.g. forensic linguistics, psycholinguistics). The focus of the conference is language variation, at all levels of linguistic structure (phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, discourse, pragmatics), and across a wide range of languages.
