In recognition of Robin Tolmach Lakoff's many contributions to linguistics, a day-long symposium in her honor will be held on the University of California, Berkeley, campus Friday, May 4, 2012. Robin's former students and colleagues will share reminiscences and present their current research inspired and influenced by Robin's work.

Registration is free, but due to limited seating, advance registration is required of all attendees by no later than Monday, April 30. To register, email robinfest@gmail.com with your name, affiliation, and email address. Hotels near the Berkeley campus include the Hotel Durant and the Hotel Shattuck.
