Meeting Description:	The Department of English in the Faculty of Arts at the Islamic University of Gaza is pleased to announce its 1st International Conference on Applied Linguistics and Literature to be held at the Islamic University of Gaza on 23-24 October 2012. This two-day interdisciplinary conference provides a meeting place for researchers and practitioners in the areas of applied linguistics and literature to present and share their research findings in a stimulating and interactive environment. The conference aims to promote collaborative and networking opportunities between scholars and practitioners and to advance new perspectives and reflect on current research and practice in a variety of areas in applied linguistics and literature.
