5th International Workshop on Spanish Sociolinguistics

The 5th International Workshop on Spanish Sociolinguistics (WSS5) will be held at North Carolina State University, April 9-10 2010. A special evening parasession will be presented by the North Carolina Language and Life Project (sociolinguistics program at NC State)on Thursday, April 8 before the conference officially begins. Topics based on original sociolinguistic research analyzing Spanish data or data from contact situations between Spanish and other languages will be given in 20 minute presentations and in a poster session. Papers and presentations will be delivered in Spanish and English. Selected papers will be published by Cascadilla Proceedings Project. Please limit abstracts to 1 page, with an additional page for references if needed.
