Workshop on sociolinguistic language documentation in Sub-Saharan Africa |

Statements should be one page long and include the following information: (i) Name of participant, academic affiliation, and research qualifications and background (ii) Reason for interest in the proposed workshop, including some indication of the specific issues of sociolinguistic language documentation that it is hoped the workshop will address (iii) Whether funding is being requested for travel to the workshop (if so, a separate page should be included giving an estimate of travel expenses) (iv) For junior applicants (especially students) the name and contact details (email and telephone number) of at least two references to vouch for their application. Please note that we are not soliciting traditional abstracts describing possible presentations but rather statements of interest in the workshop topic.
