An acrostic is a poem or other writing in an alphabetic script, in which the first letter, syllable, or word of each verse, paragraph, or other recurring feature in the text spells out another message. For this contest, we are asking our budding linguist/poets to write an acrostic on "LINGUIST."

Contest winners (as selected by subscriber votes) will receive the following prizes, generously donated by subscribers and publishers. Please visit our Prizes Page for a complete list of prizes.


The top 10 winners will each receive a copy of
