Year of the Pig Contest

As pigs are the most intelligent creatures after primates, it's no wonder that they're the LINGUIST mascot. On the 18th of February, we entered into the Year of the Pig in the Chinese calendar. In Chinese astrology a pig signifies intelligence, honesty, strength, and fortitude.
In honor of this event, LINGUIST is holding a random drawing. If you were born in any of the following years: 1983, 1971, 1959, 1947, 1935, 1923, or 1911, please use the form below to send us a message including your name, email address, date of birth, and home address. Alternatively, you may send this information to Ania Kubisz at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Four lucky linguists will receive a copy of Phonetic and Phonological Studies on Tianjin Dialect Beijing: Beijing Lu, Jilun (ed.) 2004, generously donated by Gang Gu.
The contest will be open for one week, so get your information in today! Winners will be announced April 16th.
