Dear Subscribers, My name is Joshua Thompson and I am one of the programmers at The LINGUIST List. This February marks my two year anniversary as an LL employee, and during that time I have worked on some exciting projects and met some very interesting people. The LL-MAP project in particular has been a wonderful learning experience, without which I probably would not have had the opportunity to be exposed to GIS technologies such as ESRI. It has also helped me sharpen my "Web 2.0" skills, including the wonderful ExtJS toolkit.
