Dear friends, I have been studying my Masters of Accounting at Eastern Michigan University since fall 2008. Though my major has nothing to do with linguists, The LINGUIST List has become very import part of my work and study. LINGUIST is supporting me with a Graduate Assistantship so I can pay for my tuition and living. At the same time, I can use my accounting knowledge to support LINGUIST services by managing our funding and providing customer services to our subscribers and members. Currently, I work at LINGUIST as the financial editor, handling all matters relating to our financial management and other administrative tasks. I am very thankful that I have this opportunity to work here, so I can have an enriched learning experience and hang out with students from all around of world. LINGUIST has more than 20 linguistics graduate students, who work hard to provide excellent services and professorial expertise to the linguistics community.
