The language trees used for this game were taken from the LINGUIST database. LINGUIST understands that this language classification is not the only one and some linguists may not agree completely with it. LINGUIST is working on a grant project called
MultiTree
whose main purpose is to create an online resource that will allow linguists to submit their input on language classification.
