The Main Art Theater opened in the 1940's and continues to be a popular location to see films. It specializes in indie, foreign, and documentary films. |
| The Royal Oak Music Theater opened in 1928. It's a great place to see a concert or a comedy show. | |

Downtown Royal Oak is full of great restaurants. One of my favorites is Memphis Smoke. It's a great place to have some great BBQ and listen to some wicked Blues bands. |
