UPDATE FOR ICPhS99 The FINAL PROGRAM is now posted on our website, with a complete schedule of presentations and events for the congress. Some spaces for the BANQUET & BAY CRUISE are still available. If you would like to have a great meal w/ views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz from the bay, sign up now. DAY TOURS also have limited space. Please visit our website for details, or contact us by email. STUDENTS! If you would like to attend the congress but cannot pay the costs of registration, we have opportunities to volunteer in exchange for free registration. Please email us for further details. If you are interested in the SATELLITE MEETINGS occurring before or after the congress, please visit our website for descriptions of the meetings and contact information. Also, a friendly reminder that Bay Area WEATHER can be quite cool in the summer. Please remember that pants and a light jacket are a must, and "shorts weather" is occasional. Finally, we would appreciate it greatly if our academic colleagues would take the time to share this and other congress information with their colleagues in industry and government research. We feel that we have a healthy mix of phoneticians attending the congress, but always welcome more of our friends from industry and government. If there are any questions about congress information, please email us at icphs99
