Tianjin University of Technology needs a fulltime English teacher beginning this September to teach English as a second language. Applicants must be a native speaker of English, with a college degree, preferably in TESOL or English. The salary would be at least 2,000 RMB/month (around $300 US), with a free apartment and round-trip air tickets. Tianjin is the third largest city in China, about 80 miles from Beijing. Applications are currently being accepted for the position of English lecturer or associate professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Ibaraki University, Mito, Japan beginning April 1st, 2000 for one to three years (non-renewable).
