difference in formation of plural nouns and past tense of verb in English 
and Russian languages.

Dear Colleagues:

I am trying to refine and build on my PhD dissertation work on "Chinese
Display Advertisements and Register Variation" (completed in 1994) and
would very much like to have your update on recent advances or issues in
genre analysis/register studies/promotional genres/persuasive
discourse/professional communication. Do you or do you know if your
colleague or your graduate student(s) are doing works that are related to
this area? Could you please let me know the titles of your/their work
and/or the way to access to the work(s) if you do? 

I would really appreciate your response to my above request, and would in
return, give you a copy of my work, either in its present form or in the
refined form later.
