I am looking for a standardized test of adult language comprehension ability for use in a study of individual differences in parsing and working memory capacity. I do not want general 'verbal ability' scales (which often include digit span, vocabulary knowledge, etc.), but rather a test of sentence/discourse comprehension. This could be a subscale of a larger language test. It must be standardized, preferably with published correlations with other scales. Does anyone have, or know of, interactive software that has been developed to facilitate the teaching of grammatical analysis in undergraduate classes? We are interested in anything which is relevant to the instruction of syntax, phonology, morphology, semantics, or any other analytic component of language.
