Assistant Professor of English, tenure-track position in Applied
Linguistics with a specialization in the Teaching of English to Speakers of
Other Languages. Teaching responsibilities will include linguistics (for
example, Introduction to Linguistics, Linguistic Analysis, Field Methods,
Phonology, Syntax, History of the English Language, English Grammar).
Successful candidates should have interest in assisting with the
administration of a year-round ESL program. UNH has a major and minor
program in Linguistics as well as an M.A. degree in English Language and
Linguistics and Certification in TESL. Ph.D. required by 8/00. Send
