CHAIR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF LINGUISTICS The Faculty of Arts at the University of Ottawa invites applications and nominations for the position of Chair of the Department of Linguistics. This tenured appointment will be made at the rank of senior Associate or full Professor, effective July 1, 2000. The applicants will be fluently bilingual (English and French) and will have an international research profile in one or more central fields of the discipline (theoretical, empirical/experimental or applied linguistics), interest in cooperation between subdisciplines, a recognized ability as a team-builder, and proven excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
