Research Scientist Position (Computational Linguist)

Cymfony Inc., a Buffalo-based company developing information
extraction and natural language processing software, is
seeking a research scientist (computational linguist)
in natural language processing.

The Research and Development group at Cymfony Inc.
does applied research in information extraction/retrieval,
natural language parsing, question answering, automatic
summarization, etc..

Candidates should have a degree in NLP, computational
linguistics, or computer science, and have 
work or project experience with NLP or 
text processing.

Experience in writing computational grammars is
essential. Knowledge or experience with Finite
State Transducer is a plus.
Programming skills are also required.

Cymfony is located in suburban Buffalo, NY, in the center of
Williamsville, close to the State University of New York
campus.

This position is available immediately. Salary will be
commensurate with education and experience.
