Now we are recruiting enthusiastic full-time instructors who will
teach English conversation courses for university students from March
2000 to Feb 2001.

1. Required Teaching Hours: 14 hours a week
 (The instructor may be given extra hours upon the university's requests
 and the overtime will be paid.)

2. Payment: 1,600,000 Won/month (about US$1,300)

3. Housing: Furnished studio provided (Utilities are not included.)

4. Vacation: 8 weeks (4 weeks per summer vacation and winter vacation)

5. Requirement
 - Resume, copies of certificates of degrees
 - a copy of transcripts, a copy of TESOL certificate (not necessary
 but preferable)
 - copies of a passport and a certificate of alien registration
 - release from the contract ( only applicants teaching in Korea right now)

G�teborg University invites applications for the post of Lecturer in
General Linguistics, ref no E 324 3076/99 at the Department of
Linguistics

Qualifications required for a lectureship include both a completed PhD
or evidence of corresponding academic competence and demonstrated
teaching ability.

Duties include teaching at the undergraduate level in general
linguistics which includes courses in the computational linguistics
and speech therapy programmes. In addition duties may include teaching
at the graduate level and other undergraduate teaching in which the
department is involved.

Candidates who wish to be considered for appointment at the rank of
professor should indicate this in their application.

The university has a policy of determining salary on an individual basis.
Please indicate your desired salary in your application.

Applications should include three copies of a CV and a brief description of
the applicant's research and teaching experience. Documentation of teaching
experience should include a letter from the applicant's head of department
or other supervisor. Applicants may be requested to submit up to ten
scientific writings or teaching material to support their application.
