The Linguistics program at the University of Minnesota is seeking to make part-time, and possibly full-time, temporary appointments for Spring Semester 2000 to teach the following courses: Introduction to Syntax, Seminar in Syntax, Topics in Syntax and Semantics, and Computational Linguistics. Classification: Teaching Specialist if ABD; Lecturer with PhD; Individuals on leave from their home institution for the current academic year are encouraged to apply as Visiting Professor. Salary dependent on education and experience. Qualifications: ABD or PhD in Linguistics or Computer Science (for Compuational Linguistics). At least one year of teaching experience at the college or university level.
