We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

In a query 2 weeks ago I asked for evidence confirming the hypothesis that
the declinability of numerals imply the declinability of nouns. Now,
as has been pointed out to me by Remy Videraz:

There's another question that should be asked on this respect:
Does any one of you Linguists know of a language that inflects numerals
but does not inflect nouns?

Probably my former query was not explicit enough on this respect and I would
appreciate such information as well!
Thank you in advance

Greetings everyone,

I am trying to find a native K'ichee' (Quiche) speaker who would be willing
to answer a few
questions I have about this language. If you or anyone you know might be
able to help me,
please reply to: minkoffnmsu.edu Thank you for your kind attention.

Sincerely,
