We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

I'm looking for the proceedings of the ACL '98 workshop on discourse
markers.
If anyone can help me find them (electronically if possible) ...
Thanks

Subject: Role of Movement in GB
Dear all
I am currently undertaking some research on the ROLE of movement in
Government and Binding Theory. I would be grateful if you could point me to
references which serve to describe and explain this role.
I have checked the extensive database on the Linguist website for
information but appear to have come up with very little. Any help would be
appreciated.
Many thanks
Betty
