We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

Hello my colleagues,
I am specialist in French and I don't actually know anything about the
russian language. I would ask you if there existe in russian the
phenomenon "liaison" like in French.
Thank you very much for your help in advance.
Mrs Raija Solatie from Finland

I have been looking for examples of Russian impersonal constructions
that include the following elements:
Dative case plus reflexive verb
Do any list members know where I can find examples of these on the
Internet or in text books.
Thank you in advance.
