Two Teaching Positions in China Agricultural University The Foreign Language Department of CAU would like to employ two English native speakers with university degrees for the period of one year (fall of 1999 to fall of 2000). It is best that the applicants have teaching experience and business background. We are interested, if possible, in finding a couple who are both able to teach in CAU. CAU is one of the key universities in China and located in the northwestern suburbs of Beijing close to the world-famous Summer Palace. Visiting Professor, Old Dominion University The English Department at Old Dominion University now has authorization for a Visiting Assistant Professor position for 1999-2000. This will be a one-year replacement position. The candidate should be able to teach graduate courses in sociolinguistics and American English. Possible additional courses could include English Linguistics and Aspects of the English Language. PhD should be in hand by August1999 and teaching experience is highly desireable.
