We'd like to remind readers that the responses to queries are usually
best posted to the individual asking the question. That individual is
then strongly encouraged to post a summary to the list. This policy was
instituted to help control the huge volume of mail on LINGUIST; so we
would appreciate your cooperating with it whenever it seems appropriate.

Dear colleagues,
Does anybody know of a software that can perform autosegmental rules
(and possibly even visualize them) on given material?
Please reply to

I'll post a summary if there's interest by others as well.

Subject: Tagging software for French
I am looking for some software that can 'tag' the words in French
texts automatically with the part of speech. I would be very grateful
to know whether such software exists, and if so where I could obtain it.
