Thanks to those who responded to my earlier query about the translation of
some discourse terms into Spanish. Here are some of the suggestions which
I received:

coherence-coherencia
overlap-superposicion, area de coincidencia, solapar
repair- reparacion, reparar
turntaking- turno de habla, tomar el turno
backchannel- retrocanalizacion
cohesion- cohesion
speech act- acto de habla
frame- marco
footing- asentar, asentamiento
