Applicants must be a native speaker of English. Those who have a Master's degree in TESOL or a related area (Linguistics, English) are preferred. The salary is 19,5000,000 WON (approximately U$17,000) a year. In addition, there are many other special programs available, where extra money can be earned. You are required to teach 16 hours a week at least in the regular curriculum, including one early morning class at 8 AM. Teachers should be familiar with the ACTFL proficiency model and direct methodologies, and possess a strong desire to work within a language "team."
